Data and privacy

Your participation data

SWU Tournament uses your display name, email address and registrations to organize events and tournaments. Contact details are accessible only to the relevant organizer and the platform administrator. Sign-in, confirmation and password reset emails are handled by Supabase Auth. Tournament notifications are not yet sent automatically.

What is visible

On a tournament page, players can view display names, attendance, tables, results and standings. Your email address and decklist are not public. Drafts are private; an unlisted tournament is accessible to anyone with its link.

Accounts and guest access

Supabase Auth manages your email and password account and, when enabled, your Discord sign-in. SWU Tournament stores an account identifier, your email and your display name. Your password is sent to the authentication service and is not stored in the tournament database. A secure cookie maintains your session. ChatGPT sign-in remains available for existing accounts; these accounts are not automatically merged with new accounts.

As a guest, a secure access cookie keeps your registration available in this browser for 30 days. You can link this registration to an account; its previous access link is then invalidated. Your playing location and shops in your profile are optional and accessible to administrators. The profile creation date is recorded for new accounts.

History and requests

Results and corrections are kept for tournament tracking. Administrative changes to profiles and roles are logged. A tournament moved to the trash becomes visible only to administrators; its registrations and results are kept so it can be restored. Cancelling a registration releases the seat but does not remove games already played. To request correction or deletion of your data, contact your organizer through your usual group or the SWU Tournament administrator.

Site language

Your estimated country and region are used to suggest a language when you arrive. This IP location is not saved in your profile. Your FR / EN choice is stored in a preference cookie for one year and can be changed at any time.
